More Restrictive Brand Rules Coming for Owners

Starting in 2026 there will be new branding rules in place for the owners of the National Fantasy League. 2025 saw the initial launch of the alternate identities program with new look for the Stompers, Flood, Pandas, Nightmare, and Panthers. Following the success of this program, we will be seeing the Huskies, Kraken, Sharks, and Grizzlies launching their own alternates.

They will not all be alternate identities though, with new categories like throwback logos making an appearance in 2026. Owners will be allowed to have 3 different brands at a time, with one being their main brand. The main brand must be used for 11/14 weeks and playoffs.

If owners make changes to their main brand, they cannot do so again for 4 years. Any changes or additions to their alternate sets must remain the for two years.
